One of the best parts about being a dog owner is having the opportunity to spoil our beloved pets. All dogs deserve to be showered in love like this, but unfortunately, some don’t have that opportunity in their lifetime. Owning a dog is a big responsibility, but it’s also a lot of fun. Dogs bring so much joy into our lives, and we should do everything we can to make sure they’re happy and healthy.
One person’s decision to take a senior rescue pup on an amazing experience has resulted in an incredible outcome.
The PAWS Friend Network is an organization that strives to increase the visibility of paraplegic, amputee, wheelchair, and senior shelter dogs in order to encourage more people to adopt them. By raising awareness about these often overlooked dogs, the PAWS Friend Network hopes to find them loving homes where they can live out their lives with dignity and joy.
On their TikTok, @pawsfriendnetwork, shared a video of one senior dog named Helen who was recently adopted at 16 years old. This pup’s new owner took her to get her very first ice cream sundae! Check out the video to see Helen enjoy her much-deserved sweet treat. It’s so heartwarming to see this pup finally get the love she deserves in her older years!
We’re so happy that Helen got to have this fun experience. We wish she could have been pampered earlier in her life, but we’re glad she gets to spend the end of her life with someone who loves her.
