Woman hikes a mountain every day for a month to earn the trust of three abandoned dogs

If you found three abandoned and malnourished dogs in a forest during a hike, what would you do? Would you ignore them and keep walking or try to save them?

A compassionate woman named Veronica chose to help when she encountered three abandoned and undernourished dogs during her hike in the mountains of the Angeles National Forest.

Veronica was hiking up a mountain when she saw a dark figure in the woods. Initially, she assumed it was a bear, but as she approached, she discovered that it was a lost dog. She then noticed two more dogs nearby, and it became evident to her that there were three Cane Corsos attempting to survive alone on the mountain.

Veronica gave the three abandoned dogs names: Steve, Grace, and George. However, they were very nervous around people and did not trust humans. Despite this, Veronica was determined to help rescue them.

She spent 2-3 hours every day for a month returning to the spot where she first found them, attempting to earn their trust and feed them. Her efforts paid off, and the dogs began to trust her.

Veronica understood that catching all three dogs by herself was impossible, so she reached out for help. Numerous rescue groups answered her call, and together they created a plan to rescue the dogs.

Despite the challenges, they eventually managed to trap and save the dogs safely. The dogs were then taken to a rehabilitation center to be prepared for adoption. It’s people like Veronica who restore our faith in humanity!
