At Under My Wing Avian Refuge we give tormented parrots a home with compassion and hope. Most birds not only are given or sent to shelters once but they have been re-homed, re-adopted over and over. They simply lost their human home and their natural homes are being destroyed by deforestation or smuggling – dogs and cats are easy to feel but the plight of parrots and their long lifetime makes their long term care and survival as species almost insurmountable.
