It is kind of sad to come across a dog wandering around homeless. But it is more pitiful to see one suffer from an infection out in the open and unattended.
A rescued pup named Terra was allegedly abandoned and unwanted by her former family. As a result, the pup suffered from a skin disease called mange and was about to lose all of her hair if left untreated. She reportedly felt so terrified when she was first saved from her unlivable situation.
Terra was then brought to a nearby vet to have her checked. As expected, it will take time for the little pup to recuperate from her illness. Hence, she needs someone who can take care of her in the meantime.
Luckily, the veterinary assistant, Jessie DeFreitas, decided to bring Terra home out of compassion for the poor puppy. She knew she can provide shelter for the pup despite having cats and a dog of her own.
Being a rescued pup, Terra first appeared to be hostile and unfriendly. But over time, she learned to get along with Jessie and company and turned out to be a sweet and loving pup. After continuous medication, she gradually grew her gorgeous brown and white fur back and is now infection-free.
At first, Jessie just wanted to foster the little pup until the right family comes along. But as days passed, she had grown to be quite fond of Terra and is now used to having her around. Jessie then settled to adopt the rescued pup and provide her forever home.
Thanks to Jessies generosity and good-hearted personality, Terra has now a loving family and a place to stay and live for good. She had completely healed and survived the illness and is happier and healthier than before. Terra is now off to a fresh start with her new fur family who will adore and love her forever.
