Police Tase and Drag Family’s Dog to Death After He Escaped from Home by Accident

Enzo, a two-year-old Husky, was accidentally let out of his home when a door was left unlatched. The dog was running free when he was repeatedly tased and dragged by police officers in Lodi on January 24, leading to his death. Enzo was a beloved pet of the family.

A video uploaded on social media shows the moment when Enzo, the family dog, was fatally tasered by a police officer. Enzo was standing in the street when the officer approached him and used a taser gun, causing Enzo to fall to his side. He briefly regained his footing before falling over again. At the same time, an animal control officer placed a catchpole snare around Enzo’s neck.

Enzo died due to the continuous use of the taser and being dragged with a snare around his neck, causing him extreme pain and fear during his final moments.

A bystander recorded the incident and can be heard asking one of the officers why Enzo was being tased and dragged. The man stated that Enzo was friendly with him and his girlfriend, allowing them to pet him before the police arrived. The witness was confused as to why Enzo was tased and dragged the entire time, given that he was calm and friendly with strangers.

Enzo’s tragic death has sparked widespread outrage among those who have seen the disturbing video. His owners, Anna Marquez and Aline Galeno, are understandably heartbroken by the cruel and untimely loss of their beloved pet.

According to the police, Enzo was trying to attack children before they were called in, but this claim is being disputed. Some people believe that this claim was made up to protect the officers who were involved from being held responsible for Enzo’s death.

The individuals named as being involved in the incident are Officers Timothy Ivey and Chris Delgado, along with animal control officer Jordan Kranich.
