The Cornelius Animal Shelter is a 3,265 square feet building with 19 dog enclosures, 14 outside dog runs, 36 cat cages, indoor adoption room, outdoor adoption patio, secure indoor storage, on-site laundry space, and an office area. All animals are housed inside of our climate controlled facility. All animals brought to the Cornelius Animal Shelter must go through a State-mandated screening process.
