Originally established by Dr. Leslie Adler, Covington Creek Veterinary Hospital has grown to include a boarding facility. The current owner, Dr. Colin Chaves, provides progressive medicine for dogs and cats. Located just outside of Ft. Bragg city limits, Covington Creek sits on over 2 beautifully landscaped acres that boast several Redwood trees, as well as peace and quiet. Dr. Colin Chaves graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and as a member of Phi Zeta (the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine). He has practiced in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Oregon and California. His special interest is in dentistry, since many health issues are based in poor oral care.
