Three dogs left homeless after owner’s death cry outside his home for 18 months

Fred, Ricky, and Ethel were left without a home when their owner passed away suddenly. Instead of being taken to a shelter, they were abandoned on the street.

For 18 months after their owner’s death, Fred, Ricky, and Ethel stayed near their former home, as they didn’t know how to survive on their own and were waiting for their owner’s return.

The animal rescue organization “Hope For Paws” found out about the dogs’ situation and immediately took action to assist them. When they arrived in the location, they were devastated to see the dogs, who used to be well-cared for, now living on the streets in poor conditions.

Fred, one of the abandoned dogs, was found lingering around his previous home, unwilling to leave. He resisted the rescuers’ initial attempts to approach him but eventually relented when he realized they were there to assist him.

After Fred was rescued, Ricky and Ethel were found close by, searching for food. It took a while, but they were finally rescued too. It was the first time in almost a year that the three dogs were taken to a shelter, where they were able to rest comfortably on a couch.

The dogs, Fred, Ricky, and Ethel, have been taken into foster care and are seeking their permanent homes. They are affectionate with each other and optimistic about their future after a difficult time living on the streets. To assist them in finding homes, people are encouraged to spread the word.
